Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday said that some countries have begun mediation efforts to end the war.

The escalating conflict between the US, Israel and Iran has entered its seventh day, widening across multiple countries in the Middle East and beyond. 

At least 87 people were killed when a US submarine struck and sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean off Sri Lanka, officials confirmed.  

The UK &  France are deploying warships and air defence assets in Cyprus after it was attacked during the ongoing conflict.
