Kashmir:terrorist attack police party in Bandipora, 2 cops killed

In a terrorists attack, two cops succumbed to their injuries on Friday after in Bandipora in north Kashmir.  Both the policemen, identified as Mohd. Sultan and Fayaz Ahmad, succumbed to their injuries, The incident took place in Gulshan Chowk. Kashmir Zone Police tweeted. Soon after the attack, the whole area was cordoned off and a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers.

Condemning the attack, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted: "I condemn the militant attack on the police in Bandipore area of North Kashmir.
