The training was conducted through practical, hands-on sessions delivered in simple language and tailored to local contexts, ensuring accessibility for participants from varied backgrounds.Artisans were introduced to widely used AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Indus, allowing them to apply these tools in real-world scenarios.
The curriculum covered key areas including branding, product design, packaging, digital marketing strategies, and improving business efficiency through AI-driven solutions. Participants also learned to generate product descriptions and visual content using AI, helping expand their reach to new and wider markets. The initiative saw participation from multiple states and Union Territories, with the highest number of beneficiaries coming from Telangana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
The Ministry said the effort is aimed at bridging the digital divide for traditional workers while enhancing the value and global competitiveness of their products.
