Cong doing vote bank politics on Waqf Bill: Shahnawaz Hussain

Many Muslim leaders have criticised those who are opposing the Waqf Amendment Bill passed by the Parliament. They alleged that these people have forcefully occupied government properties, they have earned massive wealth from it. Bihar Governor Mohammad Arif Khan said, Waqf, in simple terms, refers to charitable work—helping the poor, the helpless, those with no one to look after them, using properties dedicated for their welfare, but they have not done anything in this field.

BJP leader Mohsin Raza said, once this law comes into effect, there is no doubt that strict action will be taken against those who have forcefully occupied the government land, and they will have to answer for their actions.Raza alleged, "we are receiving shocking complaints that even in graveyards, people are being asked to pay money, up to five lakh rupees, just to get a grave for their loved ones."

BJP OBC Morcha National President Dr K Laxman says, "The Waqf Amendment Bill has been passed, and all the poor Muslims are happy and welcoming it...The opposition has been doing appeasement politics over this matter for ages...The discussion that was held for two days in the Parliament has brought forward the real faces of Congress and other opposition parties."

Union Minister Chirag Paswan said, "Every individual, party is free... Lalu Yadav himself had said that it should be made stricter, these were his words, but today, when it has been made strict, his own party is talking about going to court."
In Patna, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain met with the Bihar Director general of police over receiving threats.He says, "Waqf Amendment act is an excellent act...I have given a 36-page copy to the DGP today regarding the abusive comments we are receiving on social media...We want action should be taken on this, and we should be given security..." Shahnawaz Hussain says, "No one is serious. Rahul Gandhi was sleeping in the Parliament and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra did not come to the Parliament. You can understand how serious the Congress party is. These people only consider the Muslim community as their vote bank. They are doing vote bank politics and this vote bank politics will stop now.
