Modi also targeted both the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF), alleging growing public dissatisfaction with their governance in the state. The Prime Minister is expected to transit through Coimbatore en route to Keralam, prompting heightened security arrangements across key locations. Authorities have implemented elaborate measures to ensure smooth movement and safety during the high-profile visit.Senior police officials said multiple areas in and around Coimbatore have been placed under high-security classification, with strict restrictions on vehicular and pedestrian movement. Drone operations have been banned in sensitive zones, including Neelambur, Chinniyampalayam, Mathampalayam, Ettimadai, and Walayar.
Key arterial stretches such as Avinashi Road, Peelamedu, Kalapatti, and Singanallur have been declared “Red Zones,” with intensified surveillance, checkpoints, and round-the-clock monitoring in place.
