Amid growing cases of Omicron in the country , MP Govt. after 37 days, has RE-IMPOSED night curfew from 11pm to 5am from tonight (Friday) . Although no case of Omicron has been detected in the state so far but Corona virus has again been detected in 18 district of the state out of which only 200 cases have been found in Indore and Bhopal. Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that now New Year function will be celebrated at homes only. According to guidelines , only double dose vaccinated persons of above 18 years age will be permitted in Cinema halls , multiplex , Gym, coaching classes , stadium and clubs with restrictions of 11pm deadline for the events. As usual all the govt. offices will be open with completely vaccinated employees .Guidelines will also effect X'mas celebrations as all the Churches will now organise X'mas night from 6pm to 9.30pm in place of 12 midnight.
Meanwhile, UP government also decided to imposes a night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am, starting from Saturday - amid growing concern over the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant. In addition, UP also said only 200 people could attend marriages and social functions, at which all necessary Covid-safety protocols must be followed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also asked all shopkeepers and traders to follow the "no mask, no goods" policy. Officials have also been asked to ensure that all those arriving in UP from abroad, and other states, are tested for Covid, with particular attention to be paid to railway and bus stations.
Haryana government imposed a night curfew and restricted the movement of people from 11 pm to 5 am. The state government also prohibited gatherings of more than 200 people in public places and events. Eligible people who are not fully vaccinated will not be allowed in Malls, Cinema hallsand restaurants in Haryana from January 1, 2022. Wearing of masks in public places will be strictly enforced and directed the superintendents of police in the districts and other officials concerned to fine those not wearing masks.
