Amid growing cases of COVID in 3rd wave , the Madhya Pradesh state has geared up to provide prompt treatment to effected patient. Experts say that third wave is more infectious than first and second wave. The comparative study based on one thousand cases says third wave is spreading fast. It took 21 days in first wave ,17 days in second wave and only 10 days to touch the figure in third wave .Active cases as on thursday in MP are 2475 while they were 497 on 1st January , which shows number of patients is increasing rapidly. Indore and Bhopal have maximum share of such cases. Indore detected 584 while Bhopal found 246 new cases of Corona followed by Gwalior and Jabalpur where number of new Corona Patients have rose to 142 and 92 respectively in last 24 hours.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged people to take up additional caution as the "third COVID-19 wave" approaches. Meanwhile, the state government has strengthened the medical facilities in the hospitals including beds, oxygen cylinders, COVID testing centre and medicines.The Corona has now spread into 42 district of the state which had no cases in last 6 months. The state govt. has contracted 92 hospitals for the admission and treatment of Corona patients and has made a portal named SARTHAK for registration of Covid patients. The govt. has issued gazette notification of ESMA ( Essential Service Maintenance Act) for medical services staff and fixed the treatment package for treatment in Private hospitals from 5 to 17 thousand.
