BWF World Tour Finals: Kidambi loses in opening match

India's Kidambi Srikanth on Wednesday lost his opening match at the BWF World Tour Finals to World No. 3 Anders Antonsen.Srikanth began very well and took a 4-0 lead in the first set. But some good stroke-play by the World No. 3 Antonsen brought it level at 13-13, before once again the Indian went on a blitz to win 5 consecutive points and take the set 21-15. The Danish player fought back in the second set and had a lead from the start and eventually wrapped it up 21-16 to level the game.

Indian women’s player PV Sindhu in her opening match on Wednesday lost to World No. 1 Tai Tzu-ying 19-21, 21-12, 21-17.
