The story of the appearance of Umapati, the linga form of the luminous pillar of Lord Shiva, during the Ardra Nakshatra of the month of Margashirsha is found in detail in the Vishveshwara Samhita of Sri Shivamahapurana. This day is celebrated as Maha Shivratri. For this very date, Lord Shiva himself has said that the man who visits my Umapati or my statue or the tableau of Linga on the ardha nakshatra in the month of Margashirsha is more dear to me than Kartikeya. There's a long story behind that. The authentic fact is that the day of Shivaratri has nothing to do with the marriage of Shiva and Parvati. This day is dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva.
The Rudra Samhita of Shivamahapuran describes that the union of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati took place in the month of Margashirsha, which falls in the month of November or December of the English calendar. They got married on the fourteenth day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Phalguna. People also associate their marriage with Mahashivratri. The Shivlinga appeared on the day of Shivaratri. This day is known as Shivaratri, the thirteenth day of the bright fortnight in the month of Phalguna. In fact, it is the day of Lord Shiva. Lord Shankara himself said, "Of all my dates, this night is the most sacred and the most dear to me. How the date of the appearance of Lord Shankar was propagated as the date of marriage. No one tried to stop him. According to the Vishweshwar Samhita and Ishan Samhita, on the night of Krishna Chaturdashi in the month of Phalguna, Lord Shiva appeared in the form of a Jyotirlinga with the same effect as millions of suns. For the first time Shivalinga was worshipped by Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. Hence, Maha Shivratri is celebrated as the Ling Swaroop birthday of Lord Shiva.

In that lagna, the lord of the lagna is located in his own house and the moon will also be located with his son Mercury. The moon will be red. Therefore, the combination of the moon and the stars is also excellent. It is the month of Ramzan. Sarvadoshivikshita is the lunar day, that lagna consisting of all the best planets and devoid of the sight of the inferior planets. In this auspicious day, Lord Ganesha bestows good luck to the bride and groom. It's the best mountain! In such an auspicious lagna, you will be blessed by offering your daughter, the original nature, to the Divine Mother Jagadamba for the sake of the Father of the World, Shiva.
