Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said the morale of security forces was high. Talking to the media persons in Jagadalpur, Chhattisgarh on Monday, he said that the sacrifice of jawans will not go in vain. He said Center as well as the state government will speed up the work of development in tribal areas as well as intensify the operations against the Maoist. He also said that the Centre will take fight against Naxalism to its logical conclusion. Amit Shah assured that the nation will not let up in its battle against the Left Wing Extremism and this attack will only add to the commitment of the security forces.Home Minister went to the CRPF camp at Basaguda in Bijapur district. Basaguda is near to the site where Maoists attacked the security personnel on Saturday.
Shah along with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel paid respects to the martyred security personnel at police line of Jagdalpur. Earlier, the Union Home Minister reached Jagdalpur to take stock of the situation after Saturday's Maoists attack. Shah held a high-level meeting in Jagdalpur along with Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh to review security situation in the state. Later Shah reached Raipur and met the injured jawans in th ehospital.
