In UP, school are set to open. According to information for students of class 6 to 8, schools will open from 10th of this month and from class 1 to class 5, schools will resume on 1st of March this year. After a gap of more than 11 months the the school going kids in Uttar Pradesh will take physical classes instead of virtual.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed education department officials to to make preparations for the opening of schools as the spread of corona virus is very limited in state right now. Schools from class 6 to 8th will open on 10th of this month with strict adherence to corona guidelines. Children from class 1 to 5 will also start going school from 1st March. an order regarding this has been issued by education department and consent of parents will be a must for the children to appear in the classes physically. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also given instructions to schools to make arrangements of thermal scanner, masks, sanitizers and strictly follow the social distancing.
Earlier schools for students of class 9 to 12 were opened in state on 19th October while Universities and degree colleges opened on 23rd November last year with adherence to the covid Guidelines.
