RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat began his two-day Gujarat visit on Wednesday with a spiritually significant stop at the revered Shri Swaminarayan Temple Vadtal, where he was accorded a grand welcome by saints and devotees.Bhagwat arrived earlier in the day at the RSS provincial office in Karnavati (Ahmedabad) around 10:30 am, marking the start of his March 4–5 tour. In the evening, he reached Vadtaldham in Kheda district, one of the most prominent pilgrimage centres of the Swaminarayan Sampraday.
At the Vadtal Swaminarayan Temple, Bhagwat offered devotional darshan of Laxminarayan Dev and visited key spiritual sites within the temple complex, including Akshar Bhuvan and Hari Mandap. The visit was marked by traditional honours and a warm reception by temple authorities and followers.The RSS chief was welcomed at Gopalanand Bhuvan, where he held a special interaction with Acharya Rakeshprasad Maharaj, head of the Vadtal seat. Senior saints including Sant Vallabh Swami, Kothari Dev Prakash Swami and Nautam Swami were present during the meeting, which focused on spiritual dialogue and social harmony.

The visit saw the presence of several political leaders and local representatives. Among those present were MLA Pankajbhai Desai and MP Devusinh Chauhan, along with KDCC Bank Chairman Tejas Patel. Office bearers of the Kheda District BJP and RSS workers gathered in large numbers to welcome the Sangh chief.
On Thursday, March 5, Bhagwat is scheduled to visit the Shri Swaminarayan Temple Jetalpur from 9:30 am to 11:45 am. He will attend the Shri Revati Baldevji Harikrishna Maharaj Bicentenary (Dwishattabdi) Patotsav programme, where he is expected to offer darshan and interact with saints and devotees.The two-day visit underscores continued engagement between the RSS leadership and prominent religious institutions in Gujarat, blending spiritual outreach with organisational interaction at the grassroots level.
