Indian Air Force (IAF) chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari said India is continuously evaluating threats from Pakistan and China, adding that disengagement has taken place in certain areas in Ladakh but complete disengagement with Beijing has not taken place. The Air Force will continue to maintain deployment. We are prepared to take on any challenge that we may face in that area. The IAF Chief while addressing a press conference in Dundigal after reviewing the Combined Graduation Parade at Dundigal Air Force Academy on Saturday. He said that out of the 36 Rafale aircraft for which India had signed a contract with France, 32 have been delivered and out of the remaining four, three will arrive in India on time, that is, in February next year.
Earlier, addressing the Combined Graduation Parade at Dundigal Air Force Academy, he said the Air Force is on the cusp of transformation into a highly potent air force with many new injections such as Rafale jets, Apache, Chinook and a wide variety of SAGW systems. The IAF chief said the IAF looks upon young and dynamic officers like you to carry forward the rich legacy of professional attitude, aptitude and temperament shown by your predecessors.He further said, “as military officers, you are bound to face certain hardships in your career. Never allow these hardships and constraints to affect you mentally and physically.
