Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday said, a knowledge bridge has been created between Kashi and Tamil Nadu under PM Modi's leadership. Addressing the Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 in Varanasi, Pradhan said, there is a century-old bond of Indian civilisation between Kashi and Tamil Nadu. "Due to their parochial political interests, a few friends from Tamil Nadu want to create division on the plea of language... Every year, I write a letter to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to attend the inaugural program of Kashi Tamil Sangamam."

Union MoS for Information and Broadcasting & Parliamentary Affairs L Murugan in Varanasi says, "This year's Kashi Tamil Sangamam is not only between Tamil Nadu and Varanasi, but we are also taking people from here to Rameswaram." Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi also addressed the gathering.Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Sh. K. Kailashnathan was also present.
Earlier, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated this landmark edition. Over 1,400 delegates from Tamil Nadu will embark on an immersive 8-day journey across Kashi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya, exploring universities, heritage sites, craft clusters, temples and knowledge institutions, while engaging with students, scholars and local communities.
