Raghav Chadha and 6 other AAP's RS MPs quit the party to join BJP

In a big jolt to the Aam Aadmi Party, three of its Rajya Sabha MPs, Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal have announced to quit the party. Briefing the media in New Delhi, Chadha announced that he will join the BJP along with several other AAP MPs in the Upper House of Parliament. He said they have decided that the two-third members belonging to the AAP in the Rajya Sabha will merge with the BJP. He said, in the Rajya Sabha, the Aam Aadmi Party has ten MPs and more than two-thirds of them have decided to join BJP. Chadha said that they have already signed and submitted all the documents to the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. Chadha alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party, which was formed with a pledge to end corruption, is now trapped in the hands of corrupt and compromised individuals. He said that they will work together under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi for the nation. Other four AAP MPs are-Harbhajan Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Vikram Sahney and Swati Maliwal.

Later,Rajya Sabha MPs Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal, and Sandeep Pathak, who quit the Aam Aadmi Party, meet BJP National President Nitin Nabin at party headquarters in New Delhi.

AAP leader and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann called these MPS a traitors and said that the Punjab will never forgive them.
