Senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge Wednesday took charge as the first non-Gandhi president the Congress.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has formed a steering committee with 47 members including Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh & Rahul Gandhi.

Congress called Shashi Tharoor two-faced in a sharp pushback against his allegations of extremely serious irregularities in  party polls.

Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge  on Wednesday elected as the new party chief. 

In Maharashtra, now both factions of Shiv Sena will use the name of the founder Balasaheb. Uddhav faction got the new party symbol.

The Election Commission has said that neither of the two groups shall be permitted to use the symbol "Bow and  Arrow, reserved for "Shiv Sena.
