Rafael Nadal's second-round match at the Australian Open 2021 was interrupted more than once by an unruly fan at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne Park on Thursday. Nadal was taken by surprise as he was able able to spot the fan apparently shouting expletives at him before she was removed from the iconic court by security officials. He defeated American qualifier Michael Mmoh in straight sets as he brought out his A-game against a spirited challenge in his 2nd round match. When he was serving for the 2nd set against Mmoh, the unruly fan, reportedly drunk, was heard shouting from the stands.Nadal had to stop serving but after officials intervened, he won two more points before the fan-made herself heard again. This time it seemed as if she was shouting expletives at Nadal.
A fan has been BOOTED from the match for unsavoury language and flipping the bird to Rafael Nadal! ????????
