Akshaya Tritiya and Lord Parshuram Jayanti will be celebrated in Kritika Nakshatra on Saturday, 22 April.  Fasting, festivals and festivals are given great importance in Indian culture. In our social, cultural and religious life, there is inspiration and inspiration from them. According to the calendar, there are four such auspicious times in which any work, especially auspicious work can be done. These are Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (Gudi Padwa), Akshaya Tritiya, Dussehra and the Pradosh date before Diwali. Akshaya Tritiya festival is celebrated on the third day of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. In some regions it is also called Akha Teej. The word Akshay means that which never perishes or decays, which remains permanent. Only that can remain permanent, which is always true.

Every year on this date, the doors of one Badrinath Dham open in all the four Dhams The holy work done by the devotees on this day, chanting, havan etc., bathing in the Ganges comes in the category of renewable. On this day in Vrindavan, the feet of Shri Bihari ji are seen once in a year. And devotees come from every corner of the country to have this darshan.

This day is purely a day to do renewable work i.e. permanent work, in place of decaying works. We should see that what is visible physically, whether it is the body or other things in the world, all of them are subject to decay. While positive thoughts, contemplation, meditation, charity, spirituality etc. remain renewable.

Akshaya Tritiya is a social festival.Seeing no other auspicious time, on this day auspicious works like self-realised Abhijit, marriage etc. are performed due to auspicious time. Realizing the significance of life, the renewable element can be achieved. Our determination should be full of faith and our loyalty should be unwavering in God's love. Only then can the result of all these be achieved in real sense.

 Akshaya Tritiya has been described in detail in Vishnu Dharmasutra, Matsya Purana, Narad Purana and Bhavishya Purana etc. There are many stories of this fast. Donation, bath, chanting, penance, Havan etc. deeds done on this day get auspicious and infinite results.

 There is a description in Bhavishya Purana that, the fruits of all the deeds of this day become Akshay, hence it is named Akshay. From this date, the Ugadi dates are counted. Because Satyug and Treta Yug started from this date. On this day donations are made for Kalash, Fan, Charan Paduka, umbrella, cow, land, vessels etc. filled with water.

If we look at it from another point of view, it is very hot in this month, so these things are donated to the people who are in need. In Bundelkhand, from Akshaya Tritiya to Purnima, this fast is celebrated with great pomp. Shagun is taken out for rain in Rajasthan on this day, and rain is wished for. And seven grains are worshipped. In Malwa, worship is done by keeping melon and mango leaves on top of the new pot. It is considered an auspicious day for the beginning of the new year for the farmers. Agricultural work starts on this day. It is believed that work started on this day brings prosperity.

Nar-Narayan, Parshuram and Hayagriva were incarnated on this day. That's why his birth anniversary is also celebrated on Akshaya Tritiya. Gauri is also worshiped on this day. Girls worship Gauri and distribute sweet fruits and soaked gram. With the wish of happiness and prosperity, new clothes, ornaments are made, bought and worn.

Purchase of new land, first entry in building, institution etc. This date is considered auspicious. Somewhere on this day, there is a law to donate things made of sugarcane juice, curd, dishes made of rice and milk, melon, watermelon and laddus.
