National Film Awards:SRK, Massey win Best Actor, Rani Best Actress

Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey have won the National Film Awards in Best Actor category. Rani Mukherjee has been given Best Actress award. 12th Fail has won the National Film Award for Best Film. Kathal – A Jackfruit Mystery has received the Best Hindi Film award in the 71st National Film Awards 2023. Chairman of the Jury Ashutosh Gowarikar and P Sheshadri announced the National Film Awards in New Delhi on Friday afternoon. Utpal Dutta has been selected as the Best Film Critic. Best Music Direction has been given to GV Prakash Kumar for Vaathi (Tamil). The Kerala Story has won Best Cinematography.

Vikrant Massey and Shah Rukh Khan, who have been awarded Best Actor for their critically acclaimed performances in '12th Fail' and 'Jawan', respectively. Rani Mukerji has been named Best Actress for her powerful role in 'Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway'.

The jury officially submitted the list of awardees to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday, with Union Minister of State Dr. L Murugan and Information & Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju present at the event.
