BJP has said that people have rejected the "negative political agenda" of opposition parties and have stood strongly with the politics of development and growth.president J P Nadda said on Saturday and accused it of trying to hinder the programme. People continue to show "unflinching support and trust" in the Modi government, he said in a statement. Nadda claim that the highly successful Jan Aashirwad Yatras across the country has left the Opposition parties disturbed and nervous and they unsuccessfully tried to disturb and create hindrances in our Yatra and programmes.The Yatra, which began on Independence Day and continued till August 28, covered more than 24,000 km in 14 days in which over 5,000 programmes were organised, the statement noted. He said the BJP and PM Modi are committed and firm on providing benefits of all social welfare and economic welfare schemes to every section of society, particularly to those who have been left behind in the race of growth and development..
BJP chief JP Nadda has issued instructions to all the state units to begin a 20-day mega event- "Seva and Samarpan Abhiyan" - from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 71st birthday on September 17 to mark his "20 years in public service." The party plans to hold massive cleanliness and blood donation campaigns and multiple events as part of the 20-day celebrations. Five crore postcards will be sent from the BJP booths across India to the Prime Minister to congratulate him for his efforts as "party members commit themselves to public service", said an official statement. In Uttar Pradesh, where elections are due next year, the party workers will hold a campaign to clean river Ganga at 71 sites.
