The tradition of flag culture in our country has been going on since ancient times. It is considered a symbol of victory. It was also used during war times. Along with the forts of emperors and during war, it has been used most on temples. At some places it became a symbol of bravery and prestige and at other times it became a symbol of highest status. It was established as a flag in temples.
The tradition of hoisting the flag in religious rituals is a form of Sanatan culture. It is applied as per the rituals along with chanting mantras. They are viewed with great respect. It is our tradition that if due to some reason one cannot go inside the temple, then merely seeing the peak and the flag from a distance automatically gives the result of divine darshan. There is a slight difference in the size of the flag and the Pataka / Dhwaja. It is important to understand this first, because the flag can be square or rectangular. But the specialty of the Pataka and pennant is that its shape is triangular. Which is used in temples as well as on religious occasions.
At this time, the whole world along with India is celebrating Ram on the divine occasion of consecration of life in the grand temple built in Ayodhya.Everyone has faith in Lord Shri Ram Ji. Ram Pataka is fluttering all around. In such a situation, it will be necessary to keep in mind that we all maintain respect for the sacred Pataka. And also fulfill the responsibility of taking care of them.
Jai Siya Ram .
