Defence Secretary Dr Ajay Kumar today launched a website for Republic Day Celebrations - 2022. To showcase the Republic Day Celebrations , which will mark the 75th year of Independence-Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ministry of Defence has created a new website: www.indianrdc.mod.gov.in. The website will be a single-point official source for all the content related to Republic Day Celebrations. The website includes features like a special RDC Radio, Gallery, Interactive Filters, E-book, Blogs on the Indian Freedom Movement, Wars and War Memorials. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ajay Kumar said that the various activities related to Republic Day celebrations are happening throughout the country and this website will be very useful in hosting these build up activities.
-Karnataka Agriculture minister B C Patil has informed that a sum of Rs. 7234 crore is sanctioned by the Government to introduce integrated farming in all the gram panchayats by 2023. Addressing media persons in Bengaluru on Monday, the minister said that this will help double the farmers’ income as envisaged by the Prime Minister. Speaking about other programmes being launched in the state for the farmers, the minister informed that during 2021-22 Kharif season 1280 lakh farmers have insured their crops under PM Fasal Bima Yojana in 36 notified crops. For extending scholarship to the children of farmers pursuing higher studies, the state Government has transferred an amount of 2.44 crore rupees to the bank accounts of 8931 students under Vidya nidhi yojana. During the current year sowing is done over 77.20 lakh hectares which is more than the target of 77 lakh hectares fixed for the Kharif season.
-Uttar Pradesh government has decided to conduct investigation of Lakhimpur Kheri violence under the supervision of the retired judge of high court. State Government will give Ex-gratia of 45 lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased persons while 10 lakh rupees each will be given to the injured. One person from the family of deceased will also get a government job. An announcement regarding this was made by ADG law and order, Prashant Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary Devesh Chaturvedi in the presence of farmer leaders in Lakhimpur. Meanwhile an FIR has been filed in Tikunika police station in relation with the yesterday violence in Lakhimpur district which took 8 lives.FIR mentions name of Ashish Mishra also who is son of local MP and Union minister of state for home affairs Ajay Mishra. Heavy police force has been deployed in the district and there was no report of any untoward incident rorted. As a precautionary major railways has cancelled 3 trains passing through Lakhimpur district.
-Government has extended the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Subordinate Debt upto 31st of March next year.Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises said, the government had announced creation of Distressed Assets Fund - Subordinate Debt for Stressed MSMEs’ on 13th May last year under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Package.The scheme was launched to provide credit facility through lending institutions to the promoters of stressed Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. In order to keep the avenues of assistance to stressed MSME Units open, the Government had earlier decided to extend this scheme for six months from 31 March this year to 30th September.The Ministry said, on the basis of the requests received from the stakeholders of the scheme, the Government has decided to further extend it by a period of another six months.The scheme will now remain operational till 31st March next year
