Congress party's yet to release its official manifesto for the Punjab election but Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu released a document detailing his 'Punjab Model' on Twitter. In his tweet on Saturday, Sidhu said, as promised to people of Punjab, sharing ‘Punjab Model’ inspired by Guru Nanak’s philosophy of ‘terah-terah’ & ‘Sarbat Da Bhala’.

Earlier, Rajya Sabha member Partap Singh Bajwa, who is the head of the manifesto committee of the Congress for the 2022 polls had said that Sidhu's 13-point ‘Punjab Model’ will be part of the Congress manifesto.
Campaigning in Punjab, BJP chief JP Nadda said, "Give us one chance and we will work in Punjab the same way we did in Haryana, Gujarat and UP. If we want zero-tolerance for terrorism, we need the lotus to bloom in Punjab. BJP is a tried and tested party. The name 'Narendra Modi' is a synonym of 'development'."
