Prime Minister Narendra Modi has alleged that for the past 12 years, the Congress has been seeking opportunities by spreading chaos and uncertainty, but the people of the country have repeatedly given it a fitting reply. Addressing a gathering in Gujarat's Surat on Friday, Modi said, the Congress's politics of seeking opportunities amidst chaos will not work and added that there is immense resentment among the people of Karnataka regarding the Congress government, and that is precisely why the party had to change its Chief Minister there. India has moved far beyond negativity.

Modi said, the world is steadily moving towards a greener future, and India is making an active contribution to this transition. Among the states, Gujarat took pioneering steps in this direction many years ago. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates and lays the foundation stone for development projects worth nearly Rs 18,800 crore. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi are present at the event.
