On 6th day Maa Katyayani, the sixth Shakti of Goddess Durga, will be worshipped. Why was the sixth form of Maa Durga named Katyayani - According to the story, the mother took birth in the house of sage Katyayan on Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi of Ashwin month, for three days till Saptami Ashtami and Navami of Shukla Paksha, after worshiping the sage, she killed Mahishasura on the Dashami day.  This form of Maa Durga is very divine.
Form -
The complexion of the Goddess is as bright as gold. Of his four arms, he has a sword in the upper left hand and a lotus flower in the lower left hand. While his upper right hand is in Abhaya Mudra, and his lower right hand is in Varada Mudra.
According to the story - To get Lord Shri Krishna as her husband, the Gopis of Braj had worshiped Mother Katyayani on the banks of Yamuna. Therefore Mother Goddess is also worshiped as the presiding deity of Brajmandal. Apart from this, the devotee remains fearless by worshiping the mother and he is free from any kind of health related problems and do not have to face problems.

First of all, install the picture of Mother Katyayani on a wooden platform by spreading a red cloth. After that worship the mother like the previous days. Again, worship the Mother Goddess with this mantra by holding a red flower in your hands.
