On the day of Ashtami, Mother Mahagauri is worshiped ritually. This day is also called Mahaashtami. On this day, by worshiping Mahagauri properly, financial troubles go away and wealth increases. Today, along with Gauri worship, Kanya worship also has great importance.
Nature of Mother Mahagauri 
According to belief, Mahagauri Mata is wearing white clothes. Their jewelery is also of this colour. For this reason the mother is also called Shwetambardhara. He has four arms. Mother's vehicle is Taurus and she also rides a lion.
Method of worship of Mahagauri -
First of all, take bath today and wear clean clothes. After that, install the idol of Mahagauri on a wooden platform in the home temple, light a ghee lamp and offer fruits and flowers to the Mother Goddess. After the mother's aarti, worship the girl.

Brahmanaya Pradaatvam Tapahino Bhavennarah.
