Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Singh Scindhia on Friday flagged off Heli services at Jollygrant Airport in Dehradun. Now, the air services from Dehradun to Pithoragarh, Haldwani, Srinagar, Gauchar, and Chinyalisaur will be operational. It will be a boost for the tourism sector in the hill state. He said that the govrnment have identified 10 cities and 82 routes to develop helicopter corridors across the country, starting with 6 between Juhu—Pune-Juhu; Malakshmi Race Course-Pune; Gandhinagar-Ahemdabad-Gandhinagar. "To give a boost to Helicopter Emergency Medical Services in India, heliports will be developed alongside 3 expressways (Delhi-Bombay, Ambala-Kotpuli and Ambala-Bhatinda-Jamnagar). These would ensure timely evacuation and medical treatment for accident victims," he said.
6. A centralised Heli-Sewa portal has been launched as a single window solution to facilitate all permissions for helicopter operations.

7. We will build 4 heli-hubs in the country to start with in Juhu, Guwahati, Delhi and Bangalore (HAL Airport).
Civil Aviation Minister Scindia also attended a Drone Festival . A discussion on drone technology was also held on this occasion and various types of drones were exhibited. He said that this festival would take the drone sector in the country to a greater height. Minister of State, Civil Aviation, Road Transport and Highways V.K. Singh and Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami were also present on the occasion.
