President addresses the Convocation of the University of Kashmir

President of India Ram Nath Kovind addressed the 19th Annual Convocation of the University of Kashmir at Kashmir International Convention Centre (KICC in Srinagar on Tuesday (July 27, 2021).  Kovind said, the University of Kashmir has made remarkable progress as three lakh students received degrees today with more than 2.5 lakh bachelors and more than 1,000 doctorates over the past eight years. He further said that one of the oldest manuscripts of the Rigveda was written in Kashmir and this is the most conducive region for the philosophies to prosper.
