PM Modi kicks off 2-day campaign tour to Gujarat, 6 rallies lined up

In Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Kicked off 2-day election campaign tour..He addressed first public rally,titled “Vijay Vishwas Sabha”in Deesa, Banaskantha on Wednesday, which will vote in the third phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections on May 7. PM Modi appealed the people to vote for BJP.He recalled public welfare and development works being articulated by the government. Further in his address he claimed that NDA in all probability will win over 400 seats in Lok Sabha elections 2024.He alleged that the Congress says that BJP is asking for 400 seats so that it can end reservation. Whereas on the basis of religion, Congress itself wants to give reservation to Muslims by reducing the reservation given to ST,SC,OBC and backward classes.These people have done this experiment in Karnataka, where all Muslims were declared OBC overnight and given 5 percent reservation.As long as BJP is there,’as long as Modi is there’,no one can take away the reservation given to ST,SC,OBC and general category people. 

Modi will address on May 2 at Anand, Wadhwan of Surendranagar, Junagadh, and Jamnagar. He will address six public gatherings, including 11 Lok Sabha constituencies.The BJP is hoping to replicate its success from the last two Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019, when it won all 26 seats. Attempting to match up is the Congress, which suffered an early defeat in Surat when BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal was proclaimed the winner before the polls.
Wednesday (May 1) happens to be the Foundation Day of Gujarat, also known as Gujarat Sthapana Diwas.The Day marks the formation of the state of Gujarat in 1960, and signifies the culmination of a prolonged struggle for a separate state based on Gujarati language and cultural identity.
