Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday chairs a conclave of chief ministers of BJP ruled states in Varanasi. Chief Ministers of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, along with Deputy CMs from Bihar and Nagaland were present in the meeting. BJP's national president Jagat Prakash Nadda and national general secretary (organization) BL Santosh also attended the conclave. As per available information, the Chief Ministers shared governance-related best practices followed by them in their respective states.The conclave is in line with the Prime Minister's vision of furthering team India's spirit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also participated in the 98th-anniversary celebrations of Sadguru Sadafaldeo Vihangam Yog Sansthan in Swarved Mahamandir in Varanasi. PM took a tour of the grand temple. Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also accompanied the Prime Minister. PM paid floral tributes to Sadguru Sadafaldeo. Addressing the gathering, PM Modi says that Sadguru Sadafaldeo ji Maharaj and many saints hugely contributed to India's freedom struggle, but their contribution was not described in history the way “it should have been done”. "Our nation is wonderful. Whenever there are testing times, some or the other saint appears to change the times. It is in India where the tallest leader of freedom movement is called 'Mahatma' by the world," says PM Modi.
