Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has refuted the allegations made by the Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah that the State Government is trying to protect the accused allegedly involved in dark website hacking, illegal bitcoin transaction and money laundering. Speaking to media in Bengaluru on Friday, the Chief Minister said that the accused Srikrishna and his accomplice were not only arrested by his government but the case was referred to ED, CBI-Interpol and the State CID. A charge sheet is also filed against them. The Chief Minister accused Congress of making false allegations and said that during the previous government led by Congress no action was taken against Srikrishna in the drug peddling case.
The Chief Minister has said that his government is waging a war against drugs and has the record of making the highest seizure of contraband drugs.
