In Madhya Pradesh, India Tourism, in association with ADTOI, MP Chapter, organized a special City Tour of Indore, organized a special City Tour of Indore on Thursday as part of the nationwide observance of Seva Parv 2025 (17th September – 2nd October 2025). Around 40 senior citizens from Aastha Vridhashram, an old age home in Indore, participated in this heritage tour, which was specially curated to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Indore City. The participants visited prominent historical landmarks of the city and gained insights into Indore’s glorious past.
Noted historian of Indore, Zafar Ansari, guided the tour and shared valuable historical knowledge about the heritage sites. The initiative aimed to connect the elderly with the city’s cultural legacy while offering them an enriching and memorable experience. The program concluded with a message of respect and service towards the elderly in society, in keeping with the spirit of Seva Parv.
