ICC Test Rankings: Rishabh Pant climbs to career-best No. 7

Indian batsman Rishabh has climbed to his career-best ranking of No. 7, moving up 7 places in the latest ICC Test Batting Rankings updated on Wednesday. Pant's 747 rating points are the joint-15th highest by any India batsman, and the highest by a full-time Test wicketkeeper from his country.

On the other hand, off-spinner R Ashwin leapfrogged New Zealand fast bowler Neil Wagner to the 2nd spot on the ICC Test Bowling Rankings, headed by Australia pacer Pat Cummins. Ashwin continues to be the only spinner in the top 10 bowling charts in the longest format of the game.
