Flags unfurled across states as India celebrates 77th Republic Day

The Republic Day was celebrated in States and UTs. The national flag was unfurled by the Governors, CM, and  minsters in various states.In Jammu and Kashmir, the national flag was unfurled at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Pulwama as the district observed the 77th Republic Day with official ceremonies and security arrangements in place.

In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav hoisted the national flag at the Republic Day celebration in Ujjain, while Governor Mangubhai Patel presided over the state-level ceremony at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on the 77th Republic Day.

In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai hoisted the Tricolour at the Republic Day event in Bilaspur as the state marked its 77th Republic Day, with Governor Ramen Deka unfurling the flag in Raipur.

In Gujarat, Governor Acharya Devvrat unfurled the national flag at the Republic Day celebrations in Tharad with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel present on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day. The ceremony highlighted patriotic fervour and public participation across the state.


In Assam, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma hoisted the Tricolour at the Republic Day event in Dibrugarh as part of the 77th Republic Day celebrations, reflecting the state’s patriotic mood across districts.


In Rajasthan, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma hoisted the national flag at the state’s 77th Republic Day function in Jaipur, paying tribute to martyrs and leading celebrations across the state.


In Maharashtra, the Republic Day festivities included flag-hoisting ceremonies statewide, with state leaders and officials participating in patriotic events and cultural displays as part of the 77th Republic Day celebrations. Main news reports highlight the festive preparations and activities.


Punjab Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO unfurled the national flag during the 77th Republic Day celebrations in Ludhiana. Governor Gulab Chand Kataria is scheduled to unfurl the national flag at the state’s Republic Day event in Fazilka, while Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will hoist the flag in Hoshiarpur as part of the 77th Republic Day observances.


In Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will preside over the state-level Republic Day ceremony by hoisting the national flag in Gurugram, while Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh will unfurl the Tricolour at the Lok Bhawan ‘At Home’ program.


In Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Republic Day begun with statewide flag hoisting ceremonies as part of the 77th Republic Day observances, integrated with the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Diwas celebrations emphasizing state achievements and patriotic fervour.Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel unfurled the national flag at the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the occasion of Republic Day. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present at the ceremony.
