After one crew member of a Cruise ship headed to Goa from Mumbai tested positive for coronavirus, 66 other have tested Covid-19 positive. There are over 2,000 people on board and all the passengers and crew members all now being tested for Covid-19. The Covid infected crew member is under isolation on the ship. The person was found positive in a rapid antigen test. A medical team in PPE kits went on board to conduct RT-PCT test of 2016 passengers and crew members. The authorities have asked all the passengers to remain on the cruise ship will their test results are out. Operators of this cruise ship have been asked to conduct Covid-19 tests on all the passengers through the Vasco-based Salgaonkar Medical Research Centre (SMRC) Hospital. Goa health minister Vishwajit Rane , in a tweet, inform that the govt will take appropriate measures to discuss disembarking of passengers.

The authorities will decide whether to allow disembarking of passengers from the ship.
The cruise is currently near Mormugao Port cruise terminal. The Port Trust did not allow the cruise to dock in Goa. The cruise ship belong to Cordelia. T
