Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India had now become the “leading voice” in Global South. The prime minister said that the country recently signed nine trade deals, including the "mother of all deals" with the 27-nation bloc EU. He said that India has emerged as a “trusting partner” for many countries as a “Vishwamitra and Vishwabandhu.” “When we analyse the current situations and circumstances objectively and without political bias, it becomes evident that there is a growing inclination toward India,” PM Modi said.Speaking in the Rajya Sabha amid a cacophony by Opposition MPs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed Lok Sabha disruption a 'big insult' to President. He took a dig at Congres said, “Those talking of 'mohabbat ki dukan' are raising slogans like ‘Modi teri kabr khudegi’.”

The Prime Minister said that the Congress did not promote any startup culture in the past, adding that it was “not able to lift its own startup.” He alleged that the Congress things that the Prime Minister's post belongs only to the ‘shahi parivar.'

Modi alleged that the grand old party harbours hatred towards Sikhs and has insulted the community. The Prime Minister was referring to Rahul Gandhi’s “traitor” remark targeting Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu. Further attacking the opposition leader in his 1-hour-38-minute speech, PM Modi mentioned that Bittu was a member of the family who sacrificed themselves for the country and asked, "Just because he changed his political ideology, he became a traitor?" “Stealing is in their (Congress’s) family business. They stole a Gujarati surname, Mahatma Gandhi’s surname, and the people are now teaching them a lesson... We are moving forward with the resolve of a ‘Viksit Bharat,’ but they continue to raise questions about it,” he alleged.
