The Department of Commerce and Industries, Government of Chhattisgarh, on Tuesday hosted Chhattisgarh TechStart 2025, marking a significant milestone in the state’s journey toward becoming a national hub for innovation, startups, and technology-driven enterprises.The landmark event brought together investors, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and policymakers to strengthen Chhattisgarh’s growing position in the IT, ITeS, and technology ecosystem. Designed as a catalyst for investment and collaboration, TechStart 2025 served as a platform for attracting new ventures, connecting startups with strategic partners, and showcasing the state’s expanding digital and deep-tech capabilities.
National enablers such as the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and the MeitY Startup Hub collaborated with the state government to explore opportunities in emerging sectors. Discussions at the event revolved around technology-led development, innovation-driven policy frameworks, and fostering global linkages for local enterprises.
A key highlight of Chhattisgarh TechStart 2025 was its alignment with the Industrial Development Policy 2024–30, which offers a comprehensive package of incentives to nurture startups and IT/ITeS investors. The policy emphasizes seed funding, operational support, and assistance for incubators and digital enterprises to accelerate innovation in the region.The event also featured the signing of strategic partnerships with national and international organizations, aimed at promoting mentorship, innovation acceleration, and global market access for Chhattisgarh-based startups.Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said,“Chhattisgarh TechStart 2025, held on November 4, marks a new era of innovation and entrepreneurship in the state. The event reflects the government’s resolve to make Chhattisgarh Central India’s innovation hub, fostering startups, digital enterprises, and global partnerships under the Industrial Development Policy 2024–30, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India and Startup India missions.”
