The domestic equity market ended on a flat note in the highly volatile session on Wednesday.

India's manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) soared to 59.1 in March, marking the highest reading since 2008.

GST collections in March grew 11.5 per cent to Rs 1.78 lakh crore on higher domestic sales,the second-highest since GST's inception in July 2017.

The domestic share market indices snapped a three-day winning streak to close marginally lower on Tuesday. 

The fiscal year ended on a positive note as FPIs bought shares worth over Rs 35,000 crore in March.
