Japanese star Naomi Osaka on Saturday crushed America’s Jennifer Brady 6-4, 6-3 to lift her 2nd Australian Open title. It was her fourth Grand Slam title. The third seed needed just 77 minutes to end the American’s first bid at a Grand Slam title and powered through the first set 6-4 in just 41 minutes. With strong serving that produced six aces, Osaka improved to 4-0 in major finals, the first woman to start her career that way since Monica Seles did it 30 years ago. For Osaka, that is part of a 12-0 record so far in the quarterfinals and beyond at the majors.Brady seemed to be out of the contest for most parts and did not have it in her to match the power-shot that Osaka brought into the game. With the win, Osaka also goes on to become World No.2 just behind Ashleigh Barty.
