Delhi Cong complains to LG against AAP's 'Mahila Samman' scheme

Congress party has intensified its political war against the ruling party AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. Senior Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Thursday complained to Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena about the AAP's 'Mahila Samman' scheme, claiming that the ruling party was committing fraud with the women of Delhi. In the complaint filed by Dikshit, he alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers were collecting phone numbers and addresses of women by making them fill out forms for a scheme that does not exist.Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal announced that the 'Mahila Samman Yojana' was already operational in the city which is not the case, Dikshit said.Levelling serious allegations, Dikshit alleged “AAP is engaged in espionage activities in the New Delhi constituency especially over me with the help of Punjab Police personnel to collect political information”.
The Delhi Congress on Wednesday released a 12-point “white paper” targeting the AAP and the BJP over their alleged unkept promises and mismanagement on various issues like pollution, civic facilities and law and order. Addressing a press conference, AICC treasurer Ajay Maken lashed out at AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, saying his party came to power riding on the Janlokpal agitation but has failed to set up the anti-corruption ombudsman.

"If anyone is the king of fraud in the entire country then it is Kejriwal and that is why we have come here with a white paper on the Kejriwal government and also on the BJP government at the Centre," Maken said.
