National Tourism Day:Indore organized cycle rally, heritage walk

On the occasion of National Tourism Day on January 25th, India Tourism Indore, under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, organized a cycle rally and heritage walk on Saturday,January 24,2026. A. Gopal, Assistant Director of India Tourism, informed that the cycle rally started from Gandhi Hall and concluded at Lal Bagh, passing through Krishnapura Chhatri, Rajwada, and Maharaja Hari Rao Holkar's Chhatri. Historian Zafar Ansari accompanied the participants at all these locations, providing information about the importance of the historical monuments. Approximately 70 people participated in the cycle rally. The rally concluded at Lal Bagh Palace, where 170 young members of the Tourism Club, students, and tourism stakeholders joined in for a heritage walk.  During the heritage walk, detailed information about Lal Bagh Palace was provided. The objective of this cycle rally and heritage walk was to explore the historical monuments of the city. The main participants in this event included Dfly, DSIFD, Zafar Ansari Museum Indore, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Indore, and Al Hira Public School Indore
