Senior BJP leader Mohan Yadav was sworn-in as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh in Bhopal on Wednesday. Governor Mangubhai Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Yadav, along with Deputy Chief Minister-designates Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda at the Motilal Nehru Stadium in the state capital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president J P Nadda, the chief ministers of several BJP-ruled states and central ministers among others attended the oath-taking ceremony.

Vishnu Deo Sai, the BJP legislative party leader and MLA from Kunkuri seat, was sworn in as the chief minister of Chhattisgarh in Raipur on Wednesday.State BJP chief Arun Sao and MLA Vijay Sharma took oath as deputy chief ministers.Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sai and his two deputies during a grand ceremony held at the Science College ground attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president JP Nadda, Union ministers Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari, and chief ministers of some states.

A prominent tribal leader of BJP since 1990, Vishnu Deo Sai has held various positions with the party, including Chhattisgarh BJP chief. He was also a former union minister in the first tenure of the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre.
