Chief Secretaries of Bihar and Andhra Pradesh has been given extension in service. The Central government on Saturday granted a three-month extension in service to Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das.The 1987 batch IAS officer is due for retirement on June 30 on attaining the age of superannuation. Accordingly, the Chief Secretary would continue in office till September 30.
Similarily, Tripurari Sharan has also be granted three months extension in service. He is the Chief Secretary of Bihar and was scheduled to retire on June 30. He is a 1985 batch IAS officer. Sharan will continue till September 30 this year.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the repatriation of Ms. Amita Prasad, IAS (KN:85), Chairperson, Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to her parent cadre on the request of the State Government of Karnataka.
