Tripura artist shortlisted for art-works of Rashtrapati Bhavan

As per report, a young artist of Tripura – Suman Bhattacharjee has been shortlisted for presidential art-works in Rashtrapati Bhavan and he was asked to submit three arts of president for final selection. He is among the four artists across the country and one from the Northeast who have been shortlisted for the prestigious artworks, Lalit Kala Academy Executive Board Member Suman Majumder said. Bhattacharjee, who did his Masters in Fine Arts from Tripura Central University, is the first painter from the state and the Northeast to be selected for the Presidential artworks.
