Pari Bhatti: Not a big fan of the monsoon

Actress Pari Bhatti, who plays the role of Juhi Jadhav in Rahul Kumar Tewary and Rolling Tales Production’s Udne Ki Aasha, says while she doesn’t like the rains too much, it’s fun on set as they often treat themselves to yummy snacks. However, she adds that she is a fan of sunny and bright weather. “The fun behind-the-scenes moments for us are definitely the chit-chat sessions with tea and biscuits in between the breaks. When we are shooting, we make sure to eat something new every day. But honestly, I’m not much of a monsoon person, personally, I don’t like rain and all because of the cloudy and gloomy weather. I’m a big fan of the sun and sunny weather when it’s all fun and bright outside. Rains cause too much trouble when travelling and everything’s just so wet and dewy. My playlist is the same every season though. All I need is some Punjabi songs to boost my energy and lift up my mood, whether I’m travelling or in the car or getting my makeup done, I make sure I listen to Punjabi songs because that’s what keeps me going with this tight schedule,” she says.
Monsoon is often associated with romance in Indian television. The actress says that the rains change the vibes on the set for sure. “The vibes on set are definitely different. When we used to work in summers, it used to be very fast paced and chaotic, like everything used to be moving very fast. But in monsoon, everything and everyone on set seems to be calm and relaxed. Whenever I see that it’s raining on set, I make sure to go and record it for my YouTube family. But most of the time since we’re inside we don’t even get to know when it’s raining or if it’s raining or not,” she says.

TV is a huge medium, and it does give you the limelight that actors crave: Anushka Merchende

Anushka Merchende, who is seen as Koel in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Pukaar: Dil Se Dil Tak, which is produced under their banner Studio LSD, feels TV gives instant popularity and is not limited to just one or two shows. She said, “I believe that the popularity will only increase further. It does not decrease because once you do a show, your face gets known to the audience, and then if you keep on doing different shows, your popularity gradually increases.” “TV is a huge medium, and it does give you the limelight that actors crave, and you also get to learn a lot,” she added.
However, she believes it is difficult to maintain the success of the industry. She said, “You have to constantly work hard, and there is a whole process of getting a show that you have to go through regardless of whether you are successful or not, from auditions to mock shoots to workshops, everything. So, yes, it is difficult, but just be constant in your work and believe in yourself.”
Asked if Anushka feels that the screen time starts decreasing over time, she said, “I believe it depends on the actor what role they want to play." It is the actors who audition for the roles and choose their parts. If you want to play the lead, you audition for the lead, if you want to play the second lead, you audition for that part. TV gives you the opportunity, it does not force you to play the part. I don’t think TV follows a fixed pattern.”
Her motivation to come to the set daily is her character Koel, she said, “The urge to do something new with my character Koel. The energetic scenes and Koel’s drama. I love playing Koel. It brings out the inner child in Anushka.”Anushka also pointed out that it’s important to have a good atmosphere on the set, and thanked the team of Pukaar… for the lovely atmosphere. She said, “I am an introvert, and I don’t do pranks, but yes, we do have a lot of fun while shooting.”

Actress Khushi Bharadwaj talks about balancing her personal life

Actress Khushi Bharadwaj, who is in her teens, has had a successful career so far. Last seen in ‘36 Days,’ the pretty girl will next be seen in the ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ series, which stars Raghav Juyal and Kritika Kamra. Talking about her work and personal life, Khushi says, "To be honest, balancing my work and personal life isn't that hard. I attend school regularly and even take part in most of my school events! On the other hand, when I'm on set, I always carry a book or two just in case I have extra free time. I have always utilized my free time. I am not the best at managing my time, but I make sure I have a list starting with things I have to tick off first. Basically, prioritizing things that are more important and then making time for the other stuff. A properly maintained checklist always helps."
Life is fast-paced, but Khushi feels 'me time' is also very important. She says, "One should always come up with 'me time'. I usually start with skincare and change into something comfortable. Later, I eat something I really like and take a good nap. There are a few things that I like doing and must do every day. It includes taking Coco (my pet) for a walk, completing my homework, and scrolling through Instagram." She also adds, "I have multiple hobbies. I can play three instruments: guitar, ukulele, and a little bit of keyboard. Other than that, I also learn MMA and tennis. During my free time, and sometimes even between lectures, I like to sketch and draw. In a way, that relaxes me."
Khushi is a teenager, and she knows her diet well. She says, "I believe food is the most important part of our lives in many ways, for our health and well-being. I try my best to keep my eating schedule balanced." Khushi has done shows like Baalveer on television; she was also part of the Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur starrer OTT film Tiku Weds Sheru.
