Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday inaugurated direct flight between Delhi and Khajuraho under the UDAN scheme. The flight service has been started two days before the scheduled Khajuraho festival. On the occasion, the Minister said, Madhya Pradesh has witnessed growth of 40 percent in the aviation sector. He said, Khajuraho is the gateway to the culture of Madhya Pradesh and it represents unique confluence of Hindu and Jain civilization which dates back thousand years.

He announced that two flying training organization will start operation in Khajuraho from April this year.
