Ramappa temples in Telangana is now a World Heritage site. UNESCO has conferred the World Heritage tag to Ramappa Temple at Palampet, Warangal district in Telangana. In a tweet UNESCO announced its decision on Sunday. Prime minister Narendra Modi has congratuled the nation especially the people of Telangana. He urged the people to visit this majestic Temple complex and get a first-hand experience of it’s grandness.

In a tweet the MEA has congratulated the countrymen. Union Culture minister G. Kishan Reddy also welomed the UNESCO announcement.
