Sheezan Khan on completing 11 years in the industry: Bahut kuch sikha hai

Sheezan Khan, who has been a part of shows like Jodha Akbar, Tara From Satara, and Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, completed 11 years in the industry recently. Starting his career with the historical drama Jodha Akbar, he was recently seen in the stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. He says that though it feels the same, he feels happy when people remind him that he has completed 11 years. He said, “You realize it over time. As time goes by, you understand how much time has passed. When people remind you, it feels good. They remember the characters I've played and feel happy about my choices in life. They enjoy seeing that too. I enjoy it a lot. So yes, it's been 11 years in the entertainment business as an artist, and it feels good, with more to come.”
For him, every day on the set has been a learning experience. “These 11 years aren't just about being on the set, but also about life. I've learned a lot in these 11 years. When I started 11 years ago, I learned everything on the set—acting and action scenes—without any formal training. I never went to an acting school. I learned everything while on the job. This has been a blessed part of my journey,” he said.
Though Sheezan has seen a lot of ups and downs in these years, he says everything has taught him a lesson. “Over the past years, you have seen and experienced a lot. Bahut kuch sikha hai and jiya hai in 11 saalon mein (have learned a lot and lived a lot of moments in these 11 years),” he said. However, Sheezan is proud of himself for never giving up and going as strong as ever. He said, “Sometimes, you have to pat yourself on the back for getting through tough times. There are always ups and downs; I still have, but it's not about the 11 years. Sheezan, who was 11 years old, is still the same. Somewhere, just the hunger to achieve more keeps pushing me forward.”
