In Karnataka, Congress leaders and LoP Rahul Gandhi on Friday repeated his allegations against the Election Commission of India. Addressing a rally at Freedom Park in Bengaluru, Gandhi criticised the Election Commission for demanding an affidavit under oath from him. Gandhi asserted that he has taken the oath inside the Parliament holding the Constitution and reiterated his allegation of vote theft.Today when the people are questioning the Election Commission based on data he released, the EC has shut its website, he alleged.
Here are five questions for the Election Commission of India:

1. Why are you not providing the voters' list in a digital, machine-readable format to the people of India?
2. Why are you destroying video evidence?
3. Why is the ECI committing massive fraud in the voter list?

Gandhi asked chief minister Siddaramaiah to probe the `vote theft’ in Mahadevapura assembly segment as it caused the loss of one LS seat for the Congress. He urged the CM to question the ECI officials and uncover the truth about the assembly segment, while addressing a protest rally in Bengaluru. The data the Congress extracted in Karnataka is evidence of crime. It took the party six months to extract this data.“We checked every single name, matched every single photo with millions of photos. We believe that the election data is evidence. If someone has destroyed it, it means they are erasing evidence.”
