Polarisation, a biggest problem across the Globe: UCLG

Half of the World's polpulation living in urban areas . And  a biggest challenge before urban administration is to provide them safe  water, better transport , improved  health services and good atmosphere. But today polarisation is the biggest problem across the globe. In an interview to Newsinc24.com, Emilia Saiz Carrancedo, Secretary General,United Cities of Local Governments(UCLG) said that almost every country is facing this problem.

Ms Carrancendo said that polarisation issue is being discussed at every forum and urban administration is also finding out a solution.She was in Ahmedabad to attend the Urban20(U20) Mayoral Summit. Meanwhile, the two day summit which kicked off on Friday, will discuss the best practices for sustainable development. The U20 establishes a platform for cities to collectively inform G20 negotiations with respect to urban priorities.
